About Us
Havanese Rescue, Inc. is a nationwide, non-profit
corporation, 501(c)(3) approved, and registered under the laws of the State
of Arizona.
We are a nationwide network of dedicated volunteers whose
mission is to provide a safety net for Havanese, and nearly Havanese, that
are turned into shelters, found on the streets, or surrendered by their
owners. Though our hearts go out to those in auctions or puppy
mills, to support that cause only increases their numbers.
Each dog is thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, updated on
vaccinations, and spay/neutered.
Our adoption applications are screened, have reference
checks, followed by visits to home to ensure the best possible forever-after home
that meets the needs of each dog.
Havanese Rescue, Inc. is fully supported by donations from
purchases through our Gift Shop,
through the annual Universal Quilt drawing, and through
donations from our friends and supporters.
